Industry Green certification is developed by Julie's Bicycle for music, theatre and the wider creative industries. By achieving Industry Green certification O2 Apollo Manchester is joining the UK creative industries' response to climate change and environmental sustainability.
The assessment of O2 Apollo Manchester's carbon emissions covered data from 2010 to 2011 and includes emissions from energy, water, sewage, waste to landfill and waste to recycling. This assessment excludes the emissions derived from busiess travel, audience travel, event logistics, artist travel, staff commuting, catering, concessions and merchandise.
